The Product
Journey
Garment supply chains are often long , non-transparent and complex. At Floria we are committed to bring insight into our supply chain to make sure all people working on our slow fashion garments have save, respectful and ethical working conditions. Our goal is to connect you with our partners and processes as much as possible.
Below an overview of our garments, which directs you to the page with the full product journey.
Our wool is sourced from Merino sheep in Australia. While the farm we work with practices mulesing-free methods, it is still in the process of obtaining official certification. The processing and weaving of the wool takes place in Portugal.
The blouse is made from Cotton TENCEL™, a fabric originally intended for Yumeko bedding. The production process of this natural fabric, made from wood pulp, is exceptionally sustainable.
The blouse is locally produced in the Netherlands by the social garment workshop Fabriek Fris, where experienced makers collaborate with trainees.
